In the current essay we will analyze the Wireless Telecom industry in terms of general environment, task environment, and we will provide a general discussion on the impact of the environment on the organization within the industry. We will review the importance of the wireless technologies and why they are in high demand. Wireless technologies are becoming more and more popular, and the companies are trying to satisfy the needs of people.

Wireless Technology represents the Division of Information Technologies, are used to transmit information to the distance between two or more points, without requiring the connection of wires. For information transmission can be used infrared radiation, radio waves, optical or laser. Currently, there are many wireless technologies, most commonly known to users on their marketing names, such as Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and Bluetooth. Each technology has certain characteristics that define its scope.

As a fact, there are different approaches to the classification of wireless technologies. By Range there are: Wireless personal area networks (WPAN – Wireless Personal Area Networks). Examples of technology – is the Bluetooth. Wireless local area networks (WLAN – Wireless Local Area Networks). Examples of technologies – is a Wi-Fi. Wireless network size of the city (WMAN – Wireless Metropolitan Area Networks). Examples of technologies – is the WiMAX. In topology: Point-to-point and Point-to-multipoint. By Application: Corporate (departmental) wireless network – created by companies for their own needs. Operator’s wireless network – is created by telecommunications operators for the paid service. Brief, but succinct way of classification can be displayed simultaneously the two most important characteristics of wireless technologies on two axes: the maximum data transmission speed and maximum distance.

The forces will be changing over the next three years, as there will be new trends and opportunities offered by the companies that will attract users’ attention. The population will be also aging and will be more literate and interested in technologies. There will be a tendency to provide free wireless technologies in the trade centers, cafes, restaurants and airports. As well, in schools, universities and malls all over the world. Tourism has become extremely popular and people want to have opportunities to stay connected for free all the time in any place of the world. That is why, the major wireless providers AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile will be aimed at offering people the most demanded services and to be the best in this service. This way the popularity of the services will grow and more and more people will have the access to the internet.

In the modern world exist the newest technologies, but in some countries of the world people do not even know what internet is. Wireless technologies are unknown there. So, it depends on the environment- where there is a demand and perspectives- there the technologies are being actively developed. Suppliers decide the best place and perspectives for their services.
